The text of the McKenna Amendments follows
Amendment One
The lead activists of the Activist Council shall each have one vote on the Executive Board as of May 1, 2007. The Activist Council shall elect the lead activists, beginning the fall 2007 semester.

Amendment Two
The elections for two Freshmen Representatives on the Executive Board shall be conducted in the following way: Applications will be available at a first informational meeting, and the election shall be held at a second meeting. Only freshmen are to vote for Freshmen Representatives.

Amendment Three
The positions of Director of Social and Alumni Affairs, Media Director, Membership Director, Speakers Coordinator, and Outreach Coordinator shall each be elected individually. The order of these elections shall be random.

Amendment Four
The President and Vice President of the Roosevelt Institution, as elected by their body, shall each have one vote on the Executive Board as of May 1, 2007. The representation of the Roosevelt Institution on the Executive Board is subject to their board’s approval. Added by friendly agreement: The Roosevelt Institution will give up their representation on the Executive Board if it seeks independent recognition from SGB.

Amendment Five
The Media Director shall serve as a liaison to the Activist Council.

Amendment Six
Any Executive Board decision may be overturned by a 2/3 vote of the general body. An Executive Board decision to reject a proposed constitutional amendment may be overturned by a ¾ vote of the general body. Added by friendly agreement: The Board shall be required to establish a procedural policy for such challenges.

Amendment Seven
Procedural disputes shall be settled according to Robert’s Rules of Order.

Amendment Eight
A quorum of ¾ of the Executive Board is required for all Executive Board votes.

Amendment Nine
Article 1, Section 1 of the Constitution shall be amended as follows: Strike “twenty-five persons shall constitute a quorum for business.” Insert “thirty persons shall constitute a quorum for business.”
